(I’ve not done any proper birding recently but did manage to see a Woodcock and some commoner garden species from my bedroom window at home (Gwyddon Valley) on 5/i/14)
A morning at Blackpill, Mumbles and Bracelet Bay produced very little of any interest in the wind and rain. High tide at Blackpill held only the commoner gulls and large numbers of Oystercatcher. A short seawatch from mumbles produced nothing other than a pair of Cormorant. At Bracelet Bay, good numbers of Mediterranean Gulls (approximately 30) were on the rocks and a few Curlew were also present.
