Visit to Rhossilli – 26/ii/14

My first ever visit to Rhossilli was a very enjoyable experience, and there was time for a bit of birding as well. Good numbers (around 7-9) Chough were seen flying at close range around the cliff tops. Also, a couple of Kestrels, Fulmar, Stonechat and good numbers of Gulls including many Kittiwake. Unfortunately quite a few bird corpses were found on the strandline (5 Razorbill, 3 Guillemot and a 1st-winter Kittiwake), all within a 100m stretch. Also a dead Manx Shearwater was seen from the cliffs, floating on the sea.Chough 0025 Ced
